On days when we’re not driving clients around, we love to go out to breakfast!
For me, breakfast food is always my favorite and I could totally eat it all day long! We have a few favorite local spots, but we also like to try new places. This week, we decided to try out a cute little spot that’s practically in our backyard! The Tack House Pub in South Elkhorn Village is small and quaint, and we absolutely loved it.
First of all, their coffee (which they sell) is delightful, but if you’re looking for something a little more exciting, they do have a small bar! Their menu had a nice variety of eggs, pancakes, and other breakfast staples, and I didn’t feel overwhelmed with too many choices. Their pancakes were some of the best I’ve ever had, and in true Southern fashion, we both added a side of cheese grits to our meal. They were delicious!
This restaurant is in more of a residential area, and it’s definitely popular with the surrounding neighborhoods. There were plenty of people there on the Tuesday morning that we visited, but the service was great, and the food came out very quickly. We definitely recommend a stop at the Tack House Pub, and it’s so close to us that I’m sure we’ll be visiting again soon!
