4 Distilleries You Can Virtually Explore Right Now

Right now, we’re dreaming of the day we can get back to our favorite Bourbon distilleries. After almost two weeks in quarantine, we’re beginning to think that may never happen. Lucky for us, many distilleries are starting to bring their experiences to us! Thanks to today’s technology, many distilleries are letting us see their entire process from start to finish from the comfort of our couches (and in sweatpants, no less!). Here are a few of our favorite digital experiences right now. Enjoy!

1) Buffalo Trace

We have to start with Buffalo Trace, because its our number one requested distillery stop when we are planning bourbon experiences! Buffalo Trace is the perfect combination of historic charm and big, industrial bourbon production. Not to mention, all their tours are free! Check out their facility here:

2) Lux Row Distillers

If you’re looking for something new, try a tour of Lux Row Distillers! Lux Row is located in Bardstown (the heart of Bourbon Country), and makes popular brands like Rebel Yell, Ezra Brooks, and Blood Oath. This is a great way to see how a new, modern distillery is operating!

3) Laphroig Distillery

Okay we know this is not in Kentucky, but still- how cool is it that you can get a virtual tour of this distillery! It feels like we’ve crossed the pond while still in our pajamas.

4) Four Roses Distillery

We had to save number 4 for Four Roses! Located in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Four Roses boasts beautiful Spanish-inspired architecture that makes it a truly unique distillery stop! They also just went through a multimillion-dollar renovation on their distillery to meet their ever increasing demand.
